Dirty 30

Me on my first birthday

I am officially thirty and I couldn't be happier about it! I remember saying as a kid "thirty is soooooooo old!" and now that it's here, it is not old at all! We celebrated for a week-We started in Dallas with some of our college friends at a bar crawl that we have attended a few times in years past. It is a "Crawl for Cancer" with proceeds going towards cancer research and we participated in honor of my Mom (update soon!). It was extra special this year because Tony, Britney (his girlfriend) and my cousins Kaitlin and Shelby joined us for the fun! We had a theme and this year was based on the show Duck Dynasty and our team name was "Happy Happy Happy".

We also celebrated our 6th year wedding anniversary during the week. It was great to have a nice dinner just Zane and I, we don't get to do that very often. 

On my actual birthday Zane made me wear a blinking pin all day that said "30 Rocks". I made him wear it on his 30th and he held on to it for me. We had plans to go eat dinner at BJ's brewhouse just us and when we got there I heard the hostess say "Your table of 12 is over there" and I could see my friend Logan sitting there and I turned the corner to see my sweet friends! Apparently Zane put together a surprise get together at the last minute and it was great to see them all! I wish I would've gotten a picture of all of us,  it meant so much to me that they were all there. 

Then on Saturday we went to the Jake Owen and Jason Aldean concert. We had a blast!
