kickball and football

Kickball is going awesome! We are now 3-1. Last week the other team didn't even show up so we got a win plus the weather was AWFUL, in the 50's with winds up in the 30mph range. Not fun for kickball. But this monday we had a game and it was so fun! We won 19-5. So now that you are updated with kickball lets talk football.

We have had a rough few games...we are now 2-2 with a loss to University of Texas which was a good game. The picture above was from our tailgate in Austin. We had an awesome turnout! It was a great weekend, too short, but it's always good to see old friends. Then we had a very disappointing loss to Houston. I'm sure everyone has seen in the media that Coach Leach has banned the players from using twitter. I agree with him, it was hurting the team and taking their focus off of the game. This week we play New Mexico at 2:30, it will be on TV on the Fox Sports Network. Zane is excited about the early game because he will actually have a Saturday evening off. Of course that makes me a happy girl because i've been spending my weekends doing things without him. And now that the 'stache is gone I can see his smiling face, which makes me even happier! Keep playing the Zane game though...

I'm not sure if everyone that reads this knows what the Zane game is, it is offically played world wide! We have a friend in Australia that plays (miss you Allie). The Zane game is whenever you see Zane on TV take a drink of your adult beverage of choice. It's that simple. He is always right next to Coach Leach so it is gauranteed that you will see him at least 5 times during one game! Love it! I'll leave you with one of my favorite pictures i've ever taken...
