What I love Friday!

I will be the first to admit that i'm a dreamer. I want to do big things, go places, see everything, have fun and not pay the bill....or conesquences. I know this is not reality. But when I get an idea I want to follow through with it until it does happen. There are so many places I want to go Missouri, Greece, Seattle, Fiji, Italy, Northern California, New York. You name it- I want to go; see it, experience it, taste it, be it. I'm not a millionare so that is not possible. But right now, I would rather experience these places and things than sit around bored feeling like I am missing out on life.

Every spring and fall I get the travel bug, an itch to go somewhere. I LOVE Lubbock and how blessed we are here but I need to get out every once in a while. Right now is one of those times. I miss my parents, a lot. I get to see them maybe 4-6 times a year, not enough. Johnny B's takes up all of their time. I know it will change once we have kids and settle down. (Don't ask us when we are having kids...it'll happen when we are ready). But this "itch" somehow inspired me to do a "What I love Friday!" Blog. If I can remember I will explain a few things that I love and why. I hope you enjoy!

Photography: I am just obsessed with looking at pictures and cameras and photoshop and the people behind the camera. I know VERY little about photography but could look at blogs about photographs all day every day. If I did not have the job I have right now I would want to be a photographer and I would do whatever it took to learn.
*Whitney- If you read this, I would love to spend some time with you to learn what you know. You have a gift my friend.

Texas Tech: Gotta give Texas Tech some love this Friday. This weekend is homecoming so Lubbock will be crazy with Tech Alums. We play Kansas State on FSN at 6pm. Cheer on the Red Raiders!

The Pioneer Woman Website: This woman makes me laugh every morning. She has recipes, stories, photography lessons, homeschooling advice, give aways and she is just hysterical. Check her out!

thanks, Erica! the only problem is that i don't think you'd learn much from me because i also know very little about it. i have a fancy camera and some fancy lenses, but they do all the work. i merely point and *click*. :)

however, i'd be more than happy to let you borrow it to play and test it out. just let me know!
