2009

Most of you know that we are in San Antonio for the week to play in the alamo bowl. Unfortunately it has been quite the eventful week. But I'm not going to get into it on this post. Since it is new years eve I wanted to recap how awesome our lives were in 2009. Of course there were negative and horrible things that happened in 2009 but I want this to be a positive post.

We started the new year in Dallas with our college friends while attending the Cotten bowl. Went to cancun for free! Built our first house!! Went to the annual bar crawl in Dallas. Celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary.

Logan and Courtney got married and that was such a great weekend since we were able to see old friends. Hosted our first and probably last 4th of July party and had tons of visitors stay with us including furry ones that we love!

Went on a trip around Texas to visit family and float the river with friends. Cheered on the red raiders at every home game. Traveled to Austin to cheer on the red raiders some more. Went to a few concerts. Sang kareoke. Watched multiple sporting events from unbelievable seats. Hosted the 1st annual tacky sweater christmas party. We were so lucky to celebrate Christmas with both of our families this year.

I even knocked a few things off of my bucket list like riding in a helicopter and smashing grapes with my feet. Now we are ending 2009 in San Antonio with the West's, missing everyone that could not be here.

It's the little things that made 2009 great like spending time with family and friends that you love. Finding out who your true friends are is something that happened to us this year. We have made some amazing memories with our friends and family in 2009 and here's to even more amazing ones in 2010. Cheers!
