Why do I want to be a teacher?
Remember a few posts back when I had a "I hate everything" moment? I decided I should do something about it. I whole heartidly LOVE my job and my industry. After a lot of thought and discussion with friends I decided that I wanted to look into my teaching certification. Practically my whole family is somehow involved with Education. Plus, I have said my whole life that I want to be a teacher when I grow up and i'm not really sure how I strayed away from it. So, today I applied for my Teaching Certification. To be honest i'm not quite sure what I would teach but I just know that I would love to be in that field. Summers off are also a perk! I'm not sure how long it will take to hear if I qualify but they have my application and my college transcript is not far behind. I'm pretty excited! I know it won't be an overnight thing but i'm ready for the challenge. I'll keep you guys posted....

what do you mean you "applied for your teaching certification?" as in, you are going back to school or did you sign up for something in particular? I think you would be a fabulous teacher!
Don't plan on whole summers off. More like maybe six of the eight weeks. Gotta love summer training and staff development.
Are you doing the post bac program? If so,we can soooo meet up for lunch weekly since you'll be on campus :)
