Haboob

By now i'm sure most of you have seen or heard about the Haboob that came through West Texas yesterday. As I was driving home from work and picking up Presley I noticed there was a huge wall of dirt to the north that looked to be maybe 30 miles away. I thought I had plenty of time to get home, get Pres inside and the car unloaded. I was wrong within 5 minutes of me seeing it, it was in our drive way. Thank god it was Monday and Zane didn't have practice so he pulled up at the same time. The sky turned bright red/orange and then pitch black. It was caused by a cold front that moved in with 75 mph winds. It was the craziest thing i've ever seen. We have a few dust storms a year but this was a WALL of dirt. Our house just smells dirty now. We just sat and watched our poor tree and fence sway, praying it they wouldn't go down. They didn't!
