The Texas Tech football season started with a Friday night game in Dallas against Southern Methodist University. Whenever the football schedule came out I knew I had to go and booked a flight. Since Presley is two she is full price on all airlines. It was a quick 48 hour trip and I decided I would go just me. I felt naked without Presley and Sassy wasn't happy but I know she had a great time with Grandma Keke and Pops.
I landed around 2:30 and Tony was still working so he asked me to drive. We made the short drive to campus, met Zane to get our parking pass and posted up at La Madeline's so he could finish working and we could cool off. It was one of the hottest days I can remember. We tailgated a little with some friends and sweat out of every single pore. Tony and I had a great time at the game and Tech won 41-23!
That Saturday night Mom, Dad, Tony and I went to dinner just the four of us. Which hasn't been done in a VERY long time. It was really nice to have some family time! I always feel refreshed when I am around my family.
