Grammy- my grandmother, mom's mom. After a nasty stomach bug that lasted over 4 weeks she decided she needed to go to the doctor. They admitted her to ER, administered some tests and found two masses (tumors). One on her pancreas and one on her colon. They did emergency surgery that night to remove them. While she was recovering in ICU they did some more tests and discovered that they think she may have had a few heart attacks over the years but she never knew. Apparently it happens.
This past Sunday Zane and I went to visit her in Amarillo. She was doing good still as sharp and witty as ever. The doctors think she will be out in 7-10 days and will probably have to have chemo when she is well enough. If you have the time to pray for her and continue to pray for my mom and her entire family we would appreciate it!

ugh...chemo sooooo not fun. At any age! I'll definitely be praying for her. Are there plans for surgery? And where is her tumor located? Do you know which drugs she will be given? I know a thing or two about colon cancer, to say the least.
