Three Months

Sweet Presley,
It has been an amazing month. Your smile gets bigger and bigger every day! We have daily conversations and you get upset if we don't talk back to you. You are starting to be a little sassy thing whether it be talking back, a pouty lip or a HUGE, mouth wide open grin. My heart just melts thinking about that grin. You make my world so much better. Everyone tells us how pretty you are and how great of a baby you are and that just makes momma proud! You ARE beautiful and an amazing baby.

Sleep
No schedule still and sleeping in the nap nanny or rocker. Although we have to strap you in now because you scared us so bad one night. Sometimes you sleep from 8pm-4am and back down until 7am but there are times that you sleep from 10pm-7am (we LOVE those nights). You are like your daddy and you cat nap all day unless there is something going on, then you are like your mom and can't sleep because you don't want to miss anything. Nosey girl...

Feeding
Eating 4-6 oz of formula per feeding 5-6 times a day whenever you are hungry. Slowly transitioning to 6 oz per feeding, such a big girl!

Weight/Length
At home 12 pounds 2 oz. We don't go back to the doctor for an official weigh in until July for your 4 month appointment.

Size one

Clothing Size
3 month outfits! And they are so much cuter than onesies!

Hair Color
Light brown with a red tint still

Eye Color
Greenish/Brown i'm hoping they stay that way

Random
You experienced the pool for the first time and loved it! You were just relaxing in your float having a good time. You love sitting up and looking at everything and most of the time it's watching TV!

ONE of Mom's favorite moments
Hearing you laugh for the first time. I laugh just thinking about it, we have it on video so we can watch it when you get older. I tried so hard for that first giggle and I can't wait to hear more! And just because we are your parents I had to share one of our prouder moments....

Nap Nanny

This is the Nap Nanny...

For any of my friends that are expecting, have babies or will have babies look into the Nap Nanny! Our friends Megan and Paul who had Holli one month before Presley had one and swore by it. Zane and I talked about it and decided we would wait to see how it went. That didn't last long...After being home the first night and being up until 5am with an exremely fussy and tired baby she ended up sleeping on my chest for maybe an hour. Zane went and got it the next day. It fits in our pack n play that is in our bedroom but it can also fit in the crib. For me one of the big selling points is it helps prevent SIDS. Which I am completely TERRIFIED of. Of course nothing can really prevent it but it gives me some peace of mind. We have to roll up a towel next to her head so she isn't rolling all over the place but she sleeps great in it. They do sell a head rest too.

We haven't had to strap her in because she wasn't very mobile until a few weeks ago...we had found her one morning at about 5 am laying the completely wrong way.

Now, not to scare anyone away from buying this but there is a recall...for exactly that reason. User error, not using the seat belt, not using it the right way or putting children older/bigger than what they say in there. We have really enjoyed it and has helped us get some more sleep at night knowing she is secure. You can use it for other things too like tummy time and just a place to put your baby while you are getting ready for work or doing laundry. Just thought I would share!
