What I love Friday!

Before I get to What I love Friday! I wanted to just give a little update on what has been going on. Last week Tech lost to A&M at home. It was a very disappointing loss (I love you Katilin, but it was). This week we play Kansas at 2:30 on ABC. It is the second to last home game. I cannot believe how fast this season has gone by. We have to win 2 more games to be bowl eligible. If we are not bowl eligible it will be the first time in at least 10 years we have not gone to a bowl game. Other than football and crazy work schedules we don't have much going on. I am still decorating and rearranging the house. It's getting closer but it's definitely not done.

I'd like to have a little side note here: Exactly a year ago this weekend Lubbock was a different city...it was electric, no one was working, everyone was sporting double t's with red and black pride all over the place. There was just so much excitement! On November 1, 2008 we played #1 Texas in Lubbock. In my opinion, it was one of the greatest college football games of all time. We beat them 39-33 and the city didn't sleep, people were car surfing down the street. We haven't had that this season but i'm so glad I got to experience it. Now the point of the side note. All of the people that were here that weekend will be here this weekend and I hope that we have the same electricity to beat the Jayhawks, I know my Aunt Susan and Dad would enjoy it!

Ok, What I love Friday...let's do this!

This is Dianne aka: Dirty D. She was my little sister in our sorority. And because of that we are great friends! She has family in Lubbock but she will be staying with me this weekend! Can't wait to see her!!

I have a lot of college memories with these boys. Left to Right: Mario, me, Logan and Adam. Adam's band used to play around Lubbock quite often but now they have all moved on. Last year they had a halloween reunion show and they are doing it again this year!

Zane and Becca. Becca is the better half of the Edwards'..haha just kidding Justin. Becca's sister and her family live in Lubbock so they will be coming into town to see them and also cheer on the Red Raders! Xoxo

Me and Justin. Some of you who read this may wonder who Justin is because his name to all of us is Buddha, I just figured I would go with the real name to not cause any confusion. But he is the other half to the Edwards family. I can't wait to hug this guy!
