Proud

Hi! I'm still here. Things are going great with the daycare we still have two spots to fill which concerns me but it's going well. Exhausting! But i'm happy and it's stress free. I will have a blog post with lots of fun things we have done lately but first I wanted to share something- I'm a very proud wife and Red Raider.

I'm sure most of you have heard of the devastating tornadoes that went through Dallas/Fort Worth earlier this week. In fact, I bet most of you that read this experienced it, I hope you and your loved ones weren't affected. There was a lot of damage done in a town called Lancaster. The Texas Tech Football team put together a donation drive for the city of Lubbock and Red Raider nation to bring water, dog food, clothes etc... Zane, along with Benny, some of their student workers, players and coaching staff were taking donations from 7am-6pm yesterday. Not only did they fill up one 18-wheeler they had to bring in another one because there were so many donations! I'm so proud of Zane, the Tech Football staff and the Red Raider Nation for all of their dedication to helping the city of Lancaster. I know all of the donations will help those in need. This morning a bus full of players and staff left bright and early and drove to Dallas to help unload the truck.

Here is a video from the local news, Zane is wearing a red hat and red polo.
