Part 3: Dating

Thank you Jenn for reminding me to continue this series!

After our first date we were inseparable. I remember walking home from class calling my mom to tell her about our date. I told her that he made me feel so special, that he was unbelievably funny, sweet, caring and just genuine.

Texas Tech made it to the Houston Bowl that year so we spent New Years in Houston with all
of our friends at Darrin's house. Tech beat Navy!

New Years 2003/2004 (that hair!)
For Spring Break 2004 we went to Ruidoso, New Mexico to go ski with some friends. This is the trip that Zane told me he loved me the first time! In a smoky bar after too many drinks, but I know he meant it!

St. Patricks day 2004
To be honest the rest of 2004 and 2005 are just a blur of puppy love and all the mushy stuff that goes with it. We were so in love and talked about marriage, our future and even looked a rings a few times just for fun.
Valentines 2004
South Plans fair 2004
Spring Formal 2004
We spent every moment we could together. Most nights we would stay in and laugh, just the two of us.

Spring 2005
On December 17, 2005 Zane and I both graduated from Tech. Zane was hired at Tech as a full-time Assistant Equipment Manager and I had no intentions of leaving Lubbock because Zane and I were in a serious relationship, so I started the job hunt. Who knew two weeks later I would start planning a wedding?!

Next up: Engagement
