December!?

Mom update: She had a scan on Monday to check a spot that the doctor found in her pelvis and the test results came back that she had a abscess (basically an infected pus area) so she had an oupatient procedure done on Wednesday and now has another drainage tube. She was home that afternoon and was just sore. But she is on antibiotics now so hopefully that will clear up.

Where did the year go!? We went to the doctor on Tuesday and don't worry! Presley is still a girl. Weighing about 1.5 pounds. She has been moving like crazy and kicking up a storm. Zane actually got to feel her kick for the first time this week and he had the biggest smile on his face, so sweet! Here is her pretty skull.

Zane has practice from now until the 18th and then he will have a week off. Which is unheard of. In the entire 7 years that i've known him he has never had the week before a bowl game off. I am so thankful for the new schedule!

Tonight Becca and I are going to attend one of the coolest traditions that Texas Tech does called Carol of Lights. The one and only time i've ever been was in 2003 before Zane and I were dating a group of us went and it was so cold. But the emcee had a lisp "Welcome to the forty-thward anuwal cawol of wights at Texas Tech Universawty" and I just cannot get it out of my head whenever I talk about it. Tech has put christmas lights on the 13 buildings in the entrance of campus and has a holiday ceremony to turn the lights on and light the christmas tree. There is over 25,000 lights. So cool! Tomorrow our good friends Jenn & Taylor are getting married! Congrats you two!! Here we are last year after a football game celebrating a win. They are the couple on the left.
